Who will provide the next home for this S-curve Rolltop desk?

XXXI Rolltop Desk-walnut    

This desk was the 31st piece I designed and made since I started making furniture in 1975.  My mother-in-law ordered this desk for her husband in early 1978 and it was delivered later in the year.  He was plenty surprised to get it and enjoyed it until his passing in 1989.  She then enjoyed it until it was time to downsize.  She gave it to my son who now has no room for it and is offering it for sale.

It is made from Black Walnut and measures 48" wide by 30" deep by about 42" tall.   The part of the desk housing the rolltop seperates from the base for easier transport.  It was finished with cabinet rubbing varnish.  The carved drawer pulls were purchased.  It has a few cosmetic issues due to its age but is in very good condition.

The desk currently is located in Madison, WI.  The asking price is $1,500.  I will connect inquiries to my son promptly.  He will take it from there.
