Friday was another long day full of compliments and adoration of the work I brought to the show. And occasionally I was able to get out to see other work a bit closer. The exhibitor’s lounge again provided coffee and other food items to keep me all fluffy and chatty.
I have a corner booth that faces one of the cross aisles making it a huge distance from the corner booths on the other side of the cross aisle. Apparently that chasm was detrimental to neighborly chat sessions. I planted the first seed by making the trip to make contact. Let’s see if it worked tomorrow.
Today produced a serious inquiry about the Hall Cabinet and discussions about pickup or delivery after the show. That person said they would be back. Someday I hope to develop the skill to solidify such an opportunity into a sale as I have no recollection of such an event ever going beyond that moment.
I brought the last three boxes, from the 2011 series, to this show. There is only one left now, a beautiful Birdseye Maple box, rated A+ in my scheme of things. I saved it for just the right show.
